It has only recently come to my attention that the Daily Mail exploited a pensioner. The labour MP Clive Soley brought up the issue in Parliment. Good on him!The Daily Mail alledged the pensioner was so poverty stricken that she couldn’t pay her council tax. In fact she was withholding payment because she disagreed with European regional policy.
